Abstract :
This paper describes the absorption of microwave in a composite containing a random distribution of iron-oxide (ferrite) particles embedded in fiberglass. Solutions of currently available theories for permittivity of dielectric mixture are used to show the concentration dependence of the complex (real and imaginary parts) permittivity. Reflection coefficient curves for a metal backed ferrite-impregnated fiberglass sheet have been presented
