Selection of Logistics Service Provider Based on Analytic Network Process and VIKOR Algorithm

This paper presents a comprehensive methodology for the selection of a logistic service provider (LSP). Selection of logistics service provider is the precondition and foundation of logistics operation, it is an important aspect to choose the best logistics service provider for logistics management. The proposed methodology consists of two parts: 1) preliminary screening of the available providers, we assure the weight of the criteria which are relevant in the selection of a provider based on ANP model. 2) according to index systems we have established for selection of logistics service provider, we use VIKOR algorithm to select the best logistics service provider. VIKOR algorithm is applied to select the best logistic service provider and weight is given to VIKOR by ANP model in this paper, an example was shown and validation was proved.
