Abstract
In this paper, a two-stage high frequency link single-phase grid-connected inverter is proposed for photovoltaic (PV) generation system to improve energy conversion efficiency and reduce the weight and bulk of the overall system. To achieve high quality output sinusoidal current, a Proportional-Integral-Resonant (PIR) controller is applied to the PV inverter. Moreover, a dynamic compensator is proposed to help the PIR controller to overcome the output voltage fluctuation of PV panel under time-varying environment conditions. Simulation results are provided to testify the validity and feasibility of the proposed scheme.
