Abstract
In wind power generation systems, the turbulence of the wind will result in power variations and thus affect the DC link voltage ripples and the power quality in the grid. A fuzzy logic controller is designed in this paper for reducing the DC link voltage ripples of the permanent magnet wind power generation system. The simulation model is built under Matlab/Simulink surroundings and different input wind models are studied. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy logic controller are verified by the simulation results.
