Abstract
In this paper, a new three-phase Quasi-Soft-Switching DC/AC inverter is proposed for reducing the switching losses and raising the reliability of the inverter. For the most of main switches of this inverter, soft switching condition is achieved by a simple auxiliary circuit consisted of a switch, a diode, and an inductor which is different from that of the traditional resonant soft-switching inverter. Furthermore, the auxiliary switcher is fully soft-switched. The operation principle and the auxiliary inductor design of this inverter are carried out, and a 5kW prototype is implemented. The experimental results confirm the validity of theoretical analysis.
