Abstract
Two types of fuzzy sets are considered in this paper. One is “hill shaped” and the other type is “bell shaped”. The formulas are proposed by which the entropy relationship between the original fuzzy set and the mapped image fuzzy set based on the extension principle can be obtained easily and directly. With those formulas, the derivation of the membership function of the mapped image fuzzy set is not needed any more
