Abstract
Token protocol is introduced to resolve the burst collision in OBS network. Token-based OBS ring network node using fixed transmitter tunable receiver is implemented, and a ring network testbed with three nodes is constructed. Experimental results show burst blocking is eliminated in the token-based OBS network
