Abstract
Light transmission along a dielectric waveguide with an anisotropic dispersive plasmonic core is investigated and the subwavelength guidance characteristic is given. It is found that the different orientations of the optical axis of the anisotropic plasmonic core will lead to different dispersion relation curves of the guided modes.
