Abstract :
This paper is aimed at providing insights in regards to measurement errors that may be introduced by a bad antenna ground during a CISPR 25 vehicle test. The CISPR 25 vehicle measurement procedure is reviewed in order to set the stage of the analysis. Secondly, a simplified theoretical analysis is carried out to better understand the basics of the problem. Thirdly, vehicle data are provided to highlight issues related to the antenna ground. Lastly, a set of recommendations (based on vehicle test results and analytical data) is set forth. Those recommendations include a proposal for change in the CISPR 25 procedure
