  • Abstract
Rett syndrome (RTT) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by loss of acquired skills after a period of normal development in infant girls. It is caused by the mutations in the gene MECP2. The treatment of RTT is based on a multidisciplinary approach in order to maximize the patient´s abilities. This work reports the use of the Oriented Dialog technique, combined with traditional protocols of speech therapy and physiotherapy, in the case of a 10-year-old girl with RTT diagnose.
