Abstract

The National Technological University (UTN) is in charge of 32 faculties distributed throughout Argentina. The Secretary of Science, Technology and Postgraduate is the body which manages and coordinates all the activities inherent to the implementation of the science and technological policies of the University. This organism carries out the previously mentioned activities through the Program of Clinical Engineering and Bioengineering. The main priorities of the Secretary are: design of medical devices, signal and image processing, modeling of biological systems, bioinformatics, management of medical technologies, laboratory testing of medical devices, postgraduate courses and development of new technologies for handicapped people.
