Abstract :
According to the characteristic of mp3 encoding, we propose a data hiding method for mp3 audio by modifying quantized modify discrete cosine transformation (QMDCT) coefficients. Due to frequency masking model of Human Audio System (HAS) in quantization phase, the noise which is produced by data embedding will be controlled within allowed distortion. Our method is simply and with high data hiding capacity and excellent imperceptibility. The experiment results show that a large amount of data inserted into mp3 audio, especially at high compression ratio, while keeping it inaudible..
