Abstract
For Wireless Sensor Network, energy efficient routing algorithm is critical to maximize its system life-time. To achieve this goal, a multi-hop routing path is favorable because it avoids direct transmission to the BS. In this paper, a Topology-Based and Power-Adaptive Routing (TBPAR) algorithm is proposed with emphasis on exploiting the topology matrix of wireless sensor network. In this algorithm, each node adapts its transmitting power according to its remaining energy and connection is established only on "Strong" link between each node. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm increased the life-time of whole network and reduced the difference in life-time between each node.
