Abstract :
In this paper, an introduction of chaos is firstly present. The subject matter selected for this part of the paper is given with emphasis on analysis of chaotic characteristic of radar echoes from the one dimensional rough sea surface. Based on the time series of radar echoes, the problems which are involved in the reconstruction of chaotic dynamics, calculation of correlation dimension and the largest Lyapunov exponent are discussed, and the numerical results indicates radar echoes shows the chaotic characteristic obviously.
