Abstract
The building block system described is constructed in a computer graphics world and allows users to use three kinds of input methods-mouse pointing, slider bar input and linguistic expressions-thus enabling users to design 3D models easily. Because a linguistic expression is converted into an image, users can see what the interpretation of the system is. The system also utilizes the semantic meaning implied in linguistic expressions, thus helping the user understand the 3D space and reducing the burden on the user
