Abstract :
In order to resolve the SPIT (spam over Internet telephony) risk in the ALL-IP convergence network, a multilayered detection and prevention method is proposed in this paper. This method firstly analyzes the unique characteristics of SPIT as well as the features of various SPIT attacks to enhance the pertinence of detection and prevention. Afterwards, the detection and prevention are divided into several layers, signal monitoring algorithm monitors the SPIT-related atom information, statistic and analysis algorithm analyzes the atom information to gain the more meaningful alert, correlation algorithm associates the alert to identify the behavior trace and reconstruct the attack scenario. Experiment and analysis results show that the efficiency and performance of the method satisfies the requirement of SPIT detection and prevention.
