Abstract :
Monolithic transformers operating near self-resonance for mm-wave circuit applications are presented. The proposed transformer circuit models and analytical equations accurately capture impedance transformations predicted by electromagnetic simulation to within plusmn5% and power loss within plusmn0.5dB. These models enable circuit design with load impedances ranging from 50Omega to just a few Ohms
