Abstract :
Any video coding standard can´t live without rate- control algorithm which plays an important role in video coding. In this paper, we present a new rate control method based on p domain rate distortion model for AVS (Advanced Audio and Video Coding Standard) and realize it in its test model. The experimental results show that our method performs better than Joint Video Team (JVT) rate control method.
