Abstract :
This paper proposes a new approach to AC circuits numerical simulation. After introducing spiral vector theory which is a new AC theory, the author applies this new theory to AC circuits numerical simulation and proposes a new approach that uses spiral vector state variables in both steady and transient state situations. Furthermore, with an example of AC RLC series circuit, he makes comparisons between the general solution of the spiral vector theory and the numerical solution of the new approach. The result shows that the new approach is effective in AC circuits numerical simulation
