  • Abstract
    With the emergence of new protocols, applications and technologies, traditional single node router architecture has encountered the challenges of performance, scalability and reliability. In this paper, we propose a novel cluster-based IPv6 backbone router architecture - OpenClusterRouter which has high scalability, flexibility and even superior performance costs ratio. A prototype is also presented.
