  • Abstract
In the terahertz range of wavelengths one-dimensional wire grating (OWG) are widely used. On the basis of these structures a number of quasi-optical devices, similar to the waveguide technology for more low frequency region was developed. Application of OWG in the THz lasers allowed to create the HCN-laser with a certain distribution of the output beam radiation, to optimize the connection of laser with external environment, to control the polarization-frequency properties of the output radiation, to adjust the beam diameter, and to optimize the interaction of the active medium with the electromagnetic radiation. In this paper, the authors proposed a structure consisted of two OWG used as an output mirror of the laser resonator. Transmittance was calculated using finite difference time-domain (FDTD) method.
