Abstract :
An efficient implementation of a digital filter bank has been developed for use in a hearing instrument by employing interpolated complementary linear phase FIR filters. The proposed architecture involves optimizing the delay characteristics of the individual passbands so as to realize an improved overall maximally flat frequency response for the filter bank
