Next Generation of e-Government for Developing Countries: Lessons Learned from the Cases of the EU and Korea

E-government has a vision to systematically use information and communication technologies (ICTs) to acknowledge new ways of thinking and organizational changes as well as business processes to improve the Quality of Service (QoS), efficiency and transparency. This paper examines potential disruptive ICT trends in the area of e-Government by analyzing recent research studies. Furthermore, the technological approach and adoption technology methods are compared to provide an analysis for the next generation of e-Government in developing countries.
