Autonomic LBS Based on Context: Preview

Autonomic location based services is location based services running with help of autonomic computing techniques. Its goals combine those of location based services with those of autonomic computing. And it provides services on mobile devices with little user intervention and delighting the user by fulfilling his or her needs in the face of a complex, dynamic and uncertain environment. The challenge of autonomic LBS (location based services) is to monitor changes inside and outside the mobile device integrates user´s latent needs and trigger appropriate responses. In addition to giving the motivation and definition of autonomic LBS, we identify the key technologies that enable autonomic behavior for LBS and give some examples of current autonomic behavior and some basic components for building autonomic LBS. And conclude with some guidance for future work.
