Abstract :
In this paper, the advantages of using the transmitter antenna´s near-field region in broadcasting network are described. Channel transmission coefficients for plain, cylindrical and spherical wave front are shown. The optimum height of vertical array antenna, optimum elevation angle of radiation and required accuracy of elevation angle to provide maximum efficiency are calculated. Covering Estonia with near-field region of 9 transmitters is given as an example
