Abstract
The study on decision-making behavior under uncertainty is an important field of study. Wright´s probability assessment questionnaire (PAQ) built and structured on the Western environment does not necessarily conform to the culture and characteristic of Taiwan. For this reason, with the background of Taiwan culture, this study re-designs PAQ with the hope of getting more understanding in Taiwanese´s probability assessment capacity under an uncertain environment. Another purpose of the study is to combine the international efforts, from Britain and countries of South Eastern Asia, to explore the capability of probability assessment and to make cross-nation comparisons to see if there are cultural differences
