Abstract :
As a typical example of the SOA (service oriented architecture), Web service has been applied in e-business, e-government and many other fields as for its encapsulated, loosely coupled, dynamic binding, etc. mechanism. However, the mechanism of service publishing and discovery with centralized architecture, such as UDDI, restricts the reliability and scalability of the environment as the services and resources on the web are fast emerging. Using P2P technique is a good solution. This paper discusses an architecture of Web service publishing, discovery and invocation based on P2P, which makes the UDDI registry decentralized. Besides, a concept of WSB (Web service broker) is put forward to make the service invocation transparent between the two paradigms-Web service and P2P.
