Abstract
In this paper, we briefly review the development of niche concept at first. In the later part, we fill the details of research working at a broad range of ecological modelling level. Because the literal description of concept is still a rough sketch and highly abstract, we pay more attention to connect it to the work of the modeling which set the stage for quantitative measurement. This will lead us move beyond the ideological abstractions, and get more explicit comprehension of concept.
