Abstract
The electric strength of a vacuum gap of a given geometry and dimensions is strongly dependent on the state of the contact surface. The aim of this work is to investigate and compare breakdown voltages of the vacuum interrupter cold gap with CuCr contacts for selected switching operations. Additionally, the aim of this research is to broaden known measurement results of late restrike voltages with new data
