Abstract :
Marine engine room´s unmanned monitoring is the basic requirement for modern ship steering and control. The definition, developmental trend and the monitoring requirements of unmanned marine engine room are introduced. Take a practical application in the marine engine room as an example; the components of the unmanned monitoring system are analyzed. The design procedure and key technology of monitoring software for the design of upper computer monitoring system based on FameView are studied emphatically. The functions of realtime monitoring and malfunction alarm as well as the stability of this system have been approved practically by on-board operation.
