Abstract
This paper introduces a nonlinear control scheme based on exact feedback linearization (FBL) and predictive concept to control the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The principal contribution of this work is the exploitation of discrete state model to generate the predicted trajectories and, the calculation of the Brunovsky form feedback stabilization which correspond to the linear part of the system. The stability of the closed loop system is proved through a singular perturbation analysis and the system performance is tested by simulation.
