Abstract
Small retailers of China are a strong group in number but have many difficulties in e-commerce applications nowadays. In this paper we propose a system named eTong which can help small retailers implement their e-commerce strategies. eTong whose terminal entity resembles a telephone is an e-commerce platform linking product producers and retailers. It can reduce the redundant courses between the producers and retailers and also can act as an efficient medium, providing service for both of them. The test results of eTong indicate that it creates a new win-win e-commerce model for producers and small retailers of China. We also analyze the development obstacles and challenges of eTong finally.
