Abstract :
This work proposes a methodology to enhance the distributed safety controller synthesis with application of backward search. The method is extended to deal with incomplete state observation. A new structural property analysis for safe Net Condition/Event Systems is introduced. It improves the performance and range of application of the supposed synthesis method. The application is illustrated by means of an example that is part of a lab-size manufacturing system.
