Abstract :
Can students contribute in building a 3D graphics Web? The article describes the experience gained by participation of all the students in the undergraduate computer graphics subject taught at the Nanyang Technological University at Singapore. The Webware module called a Distributed Computer Graphics Exploratorium has been designed to give students an understanding of the fundamental principles and techniques used at the heart of modern graphics systems. Each section in the courseware corresponds to taught lecture plus tutorial work, lab work and self directed study
