Abstract
Since the gap metric was introduced into the control theory, it has been studied widely. In this paper, a multi-model control strategy of the nonlinear system is proposed in gap metric. The robust stability radius is defined in gap metric to generate the weighting coefficients. The corresponding optimal robust controllers of reasonable operation points of nonlinear system are designed, whose outputs are weighted to produce the total output of the controller. At last, a strongly nonlinear system is considered to illustrate the effective of the new controller design method.
