Abstract :
The impact of stock disruptions on supply chain performance is analyzed by using system dynamics simulation. Performances of three different supply chains with Internet e-collaboration tools are compared with the assumption that a stock disruption occurs within two echelons in a four-echelon supply chain respectively. Numerical results are shown to reveal the Non-collaborative, Collaborative Forecasting and Collaborative Planning supply chains have completely different response characteristics under certain stock disaster, and Collaborative Forecasting supply chain has outstanding behavior in case of these stock events. Finally some conclusions to resist supply chain stock disruptions are concluded.
