Abstract :
In this paper, we present a centralized control approach for agent-based aircrafts to resolve flight conflict in air traffic management (ATC). Such an approach does not mean to deny the distributed system, but acts as a complement in it to fix some drawbacks in pure distributed multi-agent system (MAS). The centralized approach is executed by one center agent and other aircraft agents in corporation. In the precondition of changing aircrafts heading only, the approach groups and sorts the conflicting agents, computes a new heading for each of them, and finally makes all of the conflicting aircrafts have new routes without conflict.
