Abstract
A positive relationship between supply chain integration and integrated supply chain performance is often suggested in the supply chain literature. However, extant research has focused more on the investigation of the impacts of supply chain integration on corporate performance, and especially performance of the focal firm, rather than supply chain-wide performance. Moreover, the definition and measurement of the two above mentioned concepts varies significantly within the extant research, thus reducing comparability of results. The objective of this paper is to present a conceptual model for investigating the relationship between supply chain integration and integrated supply chain performance. The constructs of the model are described, appropriate metrics for the assessment of the constructs are proposed and propositions for examining the linkages among the constructs are developed.
