Abstract :
Laboratory tests were carried out to study flashover phenomena of insulators under rapid pollution conditions. Leakage current on insulators was measured using a personal computer. The aspects related to time variations of leakage current and those related to flashover probability were considered. Results show that the trial observation system is useful for application under natural pollution conditions
