Abstract :
Summary form only given. Here we outline the performance characteristics of a Ti:sapphire (TIS) pumped cw intracavity singly resonant oscillator (SRO) based on a 4.5-mm-long periodically poled RbTiOAsO/sub 4/ (PPRTA) crystal. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a cw optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on PPRTA. The single-grating PPRTA crystal was prepared from an 8-mm-long by l-mm-thick sample by patterning a photoresist grating with a period of 30 /spl mu/m on the c/sup +/ face.
