Abstract
Summary form only given. We present a diode-pumped optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on periodically poled (LiTaO/sub 3/) lithium tantalate (PPLT). This OPO offers wide temperature tuning of the signal and idler wavelengths for a fixed quasi phase matched (QPM) grating period and an appropriate, fixed pump wavelength.
