Study on Choosing Reverse Logistics Operating Modes of Enterprises-Based on AHP Method

Logistics management is an essential part of supply chain management. Reverse logistics as one extent of the logistics service is becoming an important element of supply chain management and at the same time, it is a demanding task. Research on reverse logistics has become a focus in academic studies in recent years. There are basic three operating mode of reverse logistics for enterprise: self-support, joint venture and outsourcing. We mainly focus on the discussion of the decision-making methods and quantitative analysis of reverse logistics mode by employing AHP method combined with a case of MD Company. Finally, we draw the conclusion that when the manufacturers choose the suitable reverse logistics mode they should according to theirs own situation.
