Abstract
The presence of baseline drift in an ECG signal influences the visual interpretation of the ECG as well as the results obtained from computer based off-line ECG analysis. This paper investigates the use of the Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) technique to estimate the presence of baseline wander low frequency components, which can then removed by implementing the time varying digital filtering of ECG baseline wander
