Abstract :
Based on the framework of population ecology of organizations this paper analyzes the linkage and coevolution between producer-service suppliers and manufacturers and explores the characteristics of their linkage and the law of their coevolution by an empirical study of the two organizational populations. The findings are as follows: so far as founding rate and population density are concerned, there are significant linkage and insignificant coevolution between producer-service suppliers and manufacturers in China.
