Abstract
We present an original approach to true amplitude seismic imaging based on of weighted summation of multi-shot multi-offset data. These weights are computed by Gaussian beam tracing from some current point within target, area towards acquisition system. The special choice of Gaussian beam provides one with a possibility to eliminate influence of geometrical spreading and illumination condition for specific acquisition system. Global Gaussian beam regularity enables to apply this approach in the presence of rays singularities as well
