Abstract
Testing in development programs for complex systems consists of numerous types, from early prototype testing to functional testing, environmental testing, safety testing, reliability demos, and test-analyze-and-fix (TAAF) on into production. An integrated reliability growth program is suggested to make use of all of these tests, providing an opportunity to find and correct reliability problems throughout development and helps avoid costly get-well programs later for reliability. The authors consider the development of reliability growth under integrated reliability growth and present results and lessons learned derived through experiences in US Army development programs
