  • Abstract
Piezoelectric lead zirconate (PZ)-lead titanate (PT)-lead manganese antimony (PMS) ceramics with various rates of CeO2 addition from 0 to 2 wt.% were prepared. The range of their sintering temperature was from 1100 to 1250°C. The electromechanical properties of PZ-PT-PMS ceramics such as piezoelectric constant, electromechanical coupling coefficient, and mechanical quality factor are estimated as a function of the sintering temperature. The best results of mechanical quality factor and electromechanical coupling coefficient with 0.5 wt.% CeO2 at the sintering temperature of 1200°C were 1989 and 0.545, respectively
