Abstract :
An application of fuzzy logic in controlling the output current of a three-phase rectifier bridge is proposed. The control system relies on a cascaded current and voltage control. The inner fuzzy logic phase-locked loop for voltage control operates without detecting the line voltage. The outer current control loop is based on a fuzzy logic controller. A rule-based algorithm speeds the start-up performance. Simulation of the entire system is performed on computer and the results show good dynamic and steady-state behavior.<>
