  • Abstract
    This paper reports a novel technique of controlling individual or any set of series joints, using only one actuator. Electromagnetic Lock System, a key feature of the project, has been employed at each joint to lock or unlock it during coordination. As an example an anthropomorphic finger is constructed and a stepper motor is used as an actuator.
