Abstract :
In order to ensure the safety of the tunnel construction, this paper proposes the concept of tunnel deformation monitoring based on GIS, clarifies a new sets of digitalized and informatization technology to monitor tunnel deformation, discusses the principles and methods of how to develop the GIS system, gives the system structure design and explains the systempsilas function. Practice shows that the system has obvious advantages in graphics management, information orientation, statistic analysis, deformation visualization and deformation prediction. And it also helps users with decision-making and plays an important role in ensuring the security of the tunnel construction.
